- Issue: The Algo Entry Controller is not visible when opening an AFT8 turnkey workspace.
- Note: The Algo Entry Controller will only appear when AFT8 trade entry algos are loaded and compatible OS settings are in use.
Tip! Make sure the latest version of NinjaTrader and AFT8 is installed!
- Solution 1: Ensure the correct AFT8 workspaces with the Algo Entry Controller are installed and opened. Turnkey workspaces 2 onwards contain all the controllers/algos/trade management modules. AFT8 Workspaces Installers.
- Solution 2: Check that the Algo Controllers are visible and not minimized or hidden behind other windows. Hover over the NT8 icon in the taskbar, cycle through the Windows task switcher (Alt + Tab), or arrange windows to bring them into view.
- Solution 3: Make sure the market analyzer has not been closed and the workspace saved. Use a turnkey workspace or reinstall the workspaces to fix a broken workspace. AFT8 Workspaces Installers
- Solution 4: Make sure the market analyzer columns are visible without error:
- AFT Algo Entry - will show a red or green number
- AFT Trade Man - will show an account and position

- Solution 5: Confirm that the PC is set up with the recommended settings and the latest verion of NinjaTrader 8, with the correct settings in play, including regional format, dates, language, and contract symbology. OS and NinjaTrader Settings Defaults - the system may not have been installed using the recommended date/time and language settings or contract symbology. This can result in a date format error on certain OS types.

- Solution 6: NinjaTrader accounts error - old account or duplicate account in use preventing loading and starting of the Algos - which will mean the controllers are not visible:
- Solution 7: Data It's possible the data has not loaded correctly in the market analyzer - view the columns in the market analyzer. The "AFT Algo" column will be red or green with a number or black with a 0 or blank if not loaded or error. The 'AFT Trade Man' column will display an account number and position if correctly loaded. - Solution 8: If the analyzer has no 'loading' or 'calculating' message in its title bar, then select the market analyzer rows and click the button F5 to reload the Algos.
- Solution 9: Try opening a different workspace. The one you are using may have an issue. If it is a turnkey workspace, it can be reset. If custom, it should be rebuilt.
- Solution 10: Instruments are incorrect, contract or not supported, or incorrect symbology is used. Use a default turnkey workspace to verify all is working, then customize and save as a different name.

- Solution 11: Has it worked before but now does not? What has changed? NT Settings/OS settings? Instruments? An update? Roll back to a default new installation of the workspaces and open workspace 2. Make sure it works. If not, there will be an error, and you should open a support ticket. See below for info.
