- Note the installation path of your NinjaTrader 8 within your Documents folder — make sure this is the correct path in case you have moved the location or OneDrive has redirected it. For example: NinjaTrader Path: C:\Users\Trader\Documents\NinjaTrader 8
- Look inside the Workspaces folder and note what files, if any, are there.
- Log in to the ATS Universal Account Downloads web page: https://account.algotradingsystems.net/Secure/Downloads
- Download the desired workspace installer.
- Run the workspace installer:
- Get past any Windows warning and click "Run Anyway".
- Read what it will do during the installation process.
- Note the installation path – is this where NinjaTrader is installed?
- Set the path correctly if required to match NinjaTrader’s path.
- Get past any Windows warning and click "Run Anyway".
- After installation, view the deployed files using Windows Explorer.
- Restart NinjaTrader 8 if the new workspaces do not yet appear in the NT8 Control Center Workspaces menu.

- Redo the installation and take a series of screenshots.
- Note and provide exact details to replicate and understand the issue.
- Verify and provide:
- The location of the NinjaTrader 8 installation folders.
- The installer’s installation path.
- Are the folders different or the same?

Antivirus / File Replication / OneDrive Issues
- Has the location of NinjaTrader 8 been changed since the first installation?
- If so, all installers will need to be re-run with the new location.
- Are any antivirus or file replication services (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) interfering with or modifying the files in the NinjaTrader folder?
- If so, move it out of OneDrive or disable it. Contact NinjaTrader support for assistance.
