After installing AFT8, NT8 connects to sim automatically and shows the message: Instruments not subscribed for real-time data

Instruments not subscribed for real-time data have been detected and will have a 10-minute delay.

Troubleshooting Connection Message

  1. Choosing Sim data connection account at start shows the message.
  2. You want real-time data for Sim but only have delayed data and no other connections.
  3. After installing AFT8 for NinjaTrader, NT connects to Sim and shows delayed data message.
  4. Sim connection is connected automatically instead of Eval, Perf, Live, or other connection.
  5. My connection is disconnected, and Sim connection is connected automatically.

  1. If you want to use Sim account and have the delayed data message:
    1. Disconnect Sim connection & connect with a valid real-time data connection.
    2. Get a real-time data feed/contact NinjaTrader support.
  2. If you do not want Sim account to be automatically connected:
    1. Configure NinjaTrader 8 Connections to not automatically connect.
    2. Complete the AFT8 Installation checklist and configure the system.
    3. Check and set ATS NT8 BootStrapper to prevent automatic connection - save settings.
