How to resolve loading and workspace issues with AFT7
This is the solution overview:
- Fix and repair the workspaces. and make sure the Turnkey Sim works as provided
- Prepare for live trading and change the sim accounts to the live trading account
Fix repair & test the Sim Turnkey Workspaces
- Please see this article on how to do the following: AFT7 installation 10 steps
- Open and use the PDF AFT downloads guide and click the link to repair the AFT7 workspaces
- Start NT7 do not open a workspace
- Make sure you have the current contracts rolled over in NT7 e.g. 03-22 for all futures in your instrument manager
- Manually download the historical data required 15days tick, minute, daily for the 4 instruments you are using. micro futures
- Open the turnkey workspace as detailed in the videos and the downloads guidance
- NOTE: select and use only 1 workspace to avoid loading issues and performance issues do not have workspaces running in the background!
TEST & VERIFY #1
Q. Does this workspace work correctly and load ok?
- a) IF not we need to remote in and fix - please let us know which step failed
- b) If yes then its easy and going well go to the next stage
Workspace Go live Preparation
Please see the following article AFT7 preparing for live trading or evaluation trading
- For the go live simply change the account in the same workspace you have opened - do not change anything else
- Test and verify the account is working
- You can elect to do that each time you start or you can elect to save that workspaces as a copy + in Future open that workspace
