AFT7 Trailing Stop Loss Risk Adjustment
How to setup the AFT000 Algo Pro Trader trailing stop for AFT7 is easy when you know how. Editing the trailing stop loss mode and offset size allows you to increase or decrease your trailing stops for each bracket 1 to 4.
Pre-requisites:
- Start NinjaTrader 7 with AFT7 installed
- Connect to intraday data
- Open the Workspace Session Open Breakout or Trend Reversal,
- Using the AFT7 NinjaBuddy Trade Manager
- Access the parameters from the provide settings template
- Edit the parameter values
- Save your own settings template
- Experiment with the settings on the sim account and place trades to see the effect of settings
- Save the changes to workspace with a name of your choice to prevent periodic updates overwriting your changes.

Trailing Stops
- Stop Loss orders are placed initially as defined here AFT7 Stop Loss and Risk Setup
- Breakeven Stop Loss Rules might also trigger
- Trailing Stop Rules will trigger based on profit
- Each Trail Stop 1 to 4 works for each of the 1 to 4 target brackets
To change and save a trailing stop, its the same way for all settings - simply open and edit the trailing stop offset or trailing stop mode property for the bracket you want then and save your own template and your own workspace.

- Click the settings menu
- Select the stop loss tab
- Edit Parameters #603 to #606 or click the advanced view to in depth descriptions

There are up to 4 targets and stop loss legs, brackets so can control each one independently.
By default HiLo and USAR Band Trailing stops are set. options 1 to 3 are recommended .
Note: 4 and 5 are specific to signal type 1 and 4 only and should not be used unless you are an advanced user really understand the premise.
