ATF7 No Signals on Charts

No signals can be due to multiple reasons as listed below.

AFT is an automated system which executes trading signals in hybrid automated modes and then engages fully automated trade management:  Real-time interaction with filters, positions targets and stops can be made by the trader via the NinjaBuddy/ Easy Trader user interface.

  • All workspaces - turnkey, demo or user defined custom settings produce signals
  • AFT monitors for real-time signals and performs algorithmic signal execution
  • Signals can be filtered with general core filters and real-time only filters

Signal Execution/Trade Entry Modes:

  1. Manual user Click Buy/Sell - OCO / Stop
  2. Semi Autonomous mode  - 1 and stop
  3. Fully automated mode -  multiple entry limited by time and goal settings

Signals Basics

1) Signals can be seen historically

2) Signals fire in real-time  - audio, voice, on chart visual and alerts window

4) Signals can be filtered historically by the core filters

5) Signals can be filtered only in real-time by Trendometer

6) Signals are executed by the Algo Trader Pro /Easy Trader

 

Check List for  "No Signals"  on chart Historically or only In Realtime

  • TrendOmeter Filter On 
    • TrendOmeter is a real-time filter so signals will be filtered out in real-time and will re-appear if you refresh the chart in historical data view
  • Licensing for the instruments 
    • For full functionality and to avoid any popup reminders, switch “Global Simulation Mode: On”or obtain a license for the components requiring a license.
      • Using NinjaTrader with “Global Simulated mode Off” connected to a live account connection requires a live trading license for:
        • AFT Indicators
        • AFT TrendOmeter
        • AFT AlgoTrader
  • AFT7 Timezone -  it is set to work off EST 9.30 NYSE.
    • Operating system Timezone date time  EST - Eastern Time  (US & Canada)
      • Switch off Session Time filters
      • Or change PC timezone and download the historical data again
  • Incorrect Local PC Regional settings
    • Operating System Regional & Language Settings:
      1. Country: United States
      2. Language English (United States)
  • Incorrect Data - must be realtime intraday connection for Futures
  • Incorrect Futures contracts must roll to the current

    TIP! Before installing NinjaTrader 7 or using AFT7
    1. Operating system Timezone date time  EST - Eastern Time  (US & Canada)
    2. Operating System Regional & Language Settings:
      1. Country: United States
      2. Language English (United States)
    3. PLEASE NOTE: If you change the Timezone after installing NT7 you will need to download all the historical data again using the historical data manager.
