AFT How it works
There are 4 basic ways to trade futures with the AFT system:
manual/semi/fully automated entry mode + automatic position trade exit management:
1- NYSE Session Open Breakout
2- Trend Reversal Trading
Manual entry - automatic position trade exit management
3 - Manual trade momentum trading
4 - Manual OCO Breakout
Note: AFT7 is designed to mimic the core system concepts used in hedge fund trading by Tom Leeson - the Session Open Breakout is the closest to that ruleset which often uses the weekly open not the daily - or if using the daily overnight swing trading is allowed. Therefore this system is really about day trading Session Open Breakout. The Trend Reversal Trading system is purely the same core setting as the Session Open Breakout with restrictions taken off to allow reversal trades to be signaled and taken - thus was provided due to a small demand for that type of ability. Even though it would be recommended a daily bias based on price action structure is used to allow long or short only when using the reversal system.
So for this reason we will discuss the system used in the context of the following system SOB

Automatic Signal Execution control
Signal types 1 to 5 and the AlphaBias entry type are controllable for manual or automatic trade entry. Signal types 1 to 5 are produced by the rules/settings in the AFT001 - Algo Signals combo Indicator. Alpha bias rules are long or short when the Traffic Light Filters align at the bottom of the chart all red short or all green long.
Signals are filtered by the Traffic filter system and if allowed through are then executed by the AFT000 Algo Pro Trader system if its set to semi/fully automatic. The signals to be executed are enabled on the NinjaBuddy top right as seen in yellow when enabled.
Auto Trading Control allows the manual or automatic execution of the trade signals produced on the chart.
Real-time Trade Entry - provides user/trader controls for entering the market in Realtime for interactive trading during manual or automatic trading.
Real-time Trade Management provides user/trader control for exits or order management- cancel, close, stops, targets, trailing stops etc.
